This project revolves around the design of the identity for the University of Applied Sciences Europe’s Gallery. The name “D3-5” derives from the university’s postal address, Dessauerstrasse 3-5 in Berlin. The mention of Dessauer may evoke memories of the city that housed the renowned Bauhaus school, establishing a strong connection to the purpose of the University of Europe. Additionally, the presence of the “Martin Gropius Bau” in Dessauerstrasse adds further significance to this name.
The primary objective was to develop a comprehensive system for the visual identity of the gallery. I opted to incorporate “blocks” as the central visual element, offering a flexible and adaptable system for conveying information across various designs, including posters, print materials, social media assets, and more.
